Why are so many people worried about a fictional character.

With everything going on in the world today. It seems we have the time, energy and focus to worry about a fictional Disney character, instead of all the real items in the US that need fixing. We have a untrustworthy Commander-in-Chief who loves groping women’s vagina’s, to transgender issues with people competitively in sports, to the police’s use of excessive force and false arrest. You name it, we got it! Yet this story really crosses the lines of news worthy and the pure ridiculous.

Halle Bailey, how happens to be Black, was chosen by Disney studios to play the new “Little Mermaid” and people lost their god dam minds, and all of these racist comments flooded the internet and social media. People were saying, how the little mermaid was white and this is an outrage, to other comments says “My children were raised with a white Ariel. She’s an icon in the eyes of many children & adults of today. To change her race is absurd” Really! America ” GET A LIFE”! It amazes me how deep routed racism is in America. All types of books, movies to cartoon icons have undergone changes over the years,this is not something new. The entertainment industry recycles story lines every day, lets get with the times.
